Al Mustafawi Trading & Engineering Company W.L.L. (MTEC) is a well-established civil engineering construction company which has been operating for more than 30-years in the STATE OF QATAR; carrying out a wide range of civil works such as construction of villa’s, drainage works, laying of cables for QTEL, and other infrastructure works.

In October 1992, the company ventured into the field of LAND SURVEYING thus becoming the first “nationally-owned” private land survey company in the STATE OF QATAR. Consequently a new division of MTEC was created and MTC SURVEYS became acknowledged and approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Agriculture (M.M.A.A.), as a Registered Cadastral Survey Company on 14th February 1993 - commencing with a staff of two but they can boast of a staff strength of over 100.

MTC SURVEYS specializes in providing services for cadastral survey, engineering survey, mapping and data services, ‘as-built’ surveys and specialized surveys in the fields of transportation, infrastructure, land development, drainage, water supply & treatment tunneling and resource development. Our company has vigorously pursued a policy of building a highly professional and proficient infrastructure; recruiting experienced field staff and qualified management personnel from various countries, and purchasing "state-of-the-art" survey equipment and survey software – in order to meet the needs of all clients.

The other divisions of the company are MTEC Coastal Hydraulics, Oil & Gas Division, Building Division & Infrastructure Division. MTEC Coastal Hydraulics, a new entrant into the company’s portfolio, offers specialized services in all kinds of Oceanographic Surveys, like Bathymetric, geographical, pipeline services etc. Our Infrastructure Division has extensive experience in the field of pipe laying, ducts laying, cable laying, manholes and joint boxes construction. Building Division is engaged in the construction of staff houses, public houses, private houses and other civil engineering projects.
