Al Mustafawi Trading & Engineering Company W.L.L. (MTEC) is a well-established trading & engineering company which has been operating for more than 31 years in the STATE OF QATAR. In October 1992, the company ventured into the field of LAND SURVEYING; becoming the first “nationally-owned” private land surveying company in the State of Qatar. Consequently, a new division of MTEC was created and MTC SURVEYS became acknowledged and approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Agriculture (M.M.A.A.), as a Registered Cadastral Survey Company on 14th February 1993, starting with a moderate staff strength boasting of 51 survey teams now and increasing.
MTC SURVEYS specializes in providing services for cadastral surveys, engineering surveys, mapping and data services, ‘as-built’ surveys, Laser Scanning, GIS, Underground Utility Surveys (GPR), Tunneling and Monitoring Surveys and specialized surveys in the field of transportation, infrastructure, land development, drainage, water supply & treatment and resource development etc. Our company has vigorously pursued a policy of building a highly professional and proficient infrastructure; recruiting experienced field staff and qualified management personnel from various countries, and purchasing “state-of-the-art” survey equipment and survey software – to meet the needs of all clients.
The other division of the company is MTEC Coastal Hydraulics, a well-established arm of MTEC, offering specialized services in the field of Hydrographic Surveying ( Nearshore geophysical and Bathymetric Surveys)
An associate company also offers a Sales and Service section which caters to marketing of latest array of high-technology survey equipment representing leading brands.

We at Al Mustafawi have been actively involved in this development for the last 34 years. Since our inception in 1979, our operations have grown in scope and magnitude to satisfy the demands of Qatar’s rapidly expanding infrastructure and other developmental and specialized engineering projects, while increasing our focus on a few key prestigious projects in line with the Qatar Vision 2030.
Today, the company, with young and professional management and a large pool of technically competent and widely experienced employees trained to the highest standard, is well-equipped and ready to offer a complete range of specialized survey services to the construction, civil and oil & gas industries in the government and private sector in Qatar. Being a UPDA (MMUP) recognized and approved survey company MTEC realizes its responsibility towards the government & the people of Qatar to provide excellent services in its recognized field towards the development of the state of Qatar. We continuously improve, develop & acquire newer technologies to render specialized services as the future holds good for Qatar. We plan to meet strategies of growing demand for our specialized engineering services both in Land and Marine Surveying. We are actively involved in some prestigious projects like the Hamad International Airport, New Port Project, New Mshereib Project, Qatar Rail project etc. We endeavour to provide complete & total survey solutions to the clients in achieving the targets and fulfilling their requirements.
